It took me years to decide on a style I wanted my kitchen. At first it was left with no color no theme for about a year. Then I decided on a green and cream with a daisy theme. cute but got old fast. After a while I hated looking at it. I've always been drawn to warm earth tones but my husband hates color on walls. So I looked at daisy's for about 3 years until I became a stay at home mom and realised home much time I had to spend in the kitchen so I started making secret plans to redecorate! So I bought paint and when my husband left for work I got it out and started then out came all the decorations I had bought and hid over the months. By the end of the day we had a different kitchen and my husband was surprised to say the least when he got home! At first he wasn't sure about but I think he likes it now that we get so many compliments on it. All I have to say is I LOVE my kitchen. Everything about it warms my soul and makes me want to stay in there. So now as I get closer to completing our kitchen at the new house I'm hoping for the same love and warmth and I look forward to seeing the finished process. And, No, I didn't have to hide my plans in the new kitchen. My husband gets me a little more these days and knows that no matter what he says I'll decorate while he's away!

The Pumpkin Patch
We enjoyed a visit to the pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago. It was a nice day for it which is always a plus. I love the pumpkin patch and always want great pictures. My kids don't always have the same idea! I was fairly pleased this year though.
I love goats! I want some to roam our hill when we move. Arn't they so cute!
Riding the cow train
Playing in the corn
corn angel anyone?
the tractor ride out to the patch
Rachel sadly brought up the fact that this was the last year for Blake and Jordan to go to the patch together. Next year Jordan will probably go with her Pre-k class. Makes me sad that they are getting so grown. Blake and Jordan had a rough start to their relationship. (Literally would scream and cry at the sight of eachother!) but now they are best buds.
Blake scouting out a pumpkin
He found one he loved enough to hug!
My serious man too big to look at mommy. Cute all the same though.
Happy Fall everyone!!! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!

The vacation has come to an end.
Our trip to Panama City Beach was wonderful. It was very relaxing and beautiful and everyone in the family enjoyed every minute of it.

David's very cool sand truck and boat.
How to keep your kids contained at the beach? Put them in a hole! The boys thought the hole was fun.

Two peas in a pod these two. this is not a posed picture but I laughed so hard when I saw it. These two even stand the exact same way! Hilarious!

There were a group of Dolphins playing out in the ocean that we spotted from our balcony.

The weather was gorgeous most days but there was one day we had a tornado warning for a tornado about 15 miles west of us.

We will miss the lovely beach. It was a nice trip for the fall.
My sweet boys...

Panama City Beach day one
First full day at the beach and it's been gorgeous and so enjoyable. The boys have been so excited to see the ocean out the window all day. This morning the weather was chilly but by lunch it was in the 70s and was just perfect. After the boys napped we headed down to enjoy some beach time.
The only good thing about being woke up at 6am by kids while on vacation...the view. this mornings sunrise.
the boys enjoyed a morning wrestle. Boys. Love them. <3
While the boys napped David and I enjoyed the balcony from our 10th floor condo.

Then we headed down to the beach.

Blake has enjoyed finding seashells
It has already been a great vacation and it has just started. I'm looking forward to the rest of our relaxing visit.

Finally sharing...our new house!
So I really wanted to wait until I get the entire thing fixed up to share photos of our new house but it's taking forever. It will be next year before I can do the landscaping and set up the living area on the front porch (exciting!!!). There are those that have been itching to see what our new house looks like though so here is a peak at the outside front. You can't see the inside until I get it finished though! I'm close to having some before and afters to share I promise!

updating
The hubs informed me last night that our blog was boring. Nice huh. Like I have nothing else to do! So I spent part of the day taking new pics of the boys and making a new fall header. I love the fall colors and now our blog is up to date. I'm excited this week to take the boys to the pumpkin patch. Blake has been begging so I'm sure he'll have a blast. He will also be glad to see his cousin Jordan. He asks for her everyday. Later this week we head to Panama City Beach, FL and I can't wait. We are going to be bums and just hang out at the condo and buy groceries and enjoy the view. I always look forward to taking our new family beach pictures as well.

The bug
Avery was feeling bad so I took him to get checked out. I didn't think it was the flu but it seemed like a bad cold. To my surprise He was diagnosed with Croup. It's super awful and the poor thing got a respitory infection along with it so we are back on breathing treatments and steriods. Hopefully a few days and he'll be back into tip top shape. I miss his cheerfulness. I don't miss the screaming and his high pitch squeal. Swollen airways are good for something. Ok so not really. I ended up getting it from him as well. I have no sick symptoms and feel great except for a dry throat and I struggle pushing enough air out to talk. The bad news is I have to give the lesson at church on Sunday. Hopefully we all will feel better soon. I'm just enjoying the extra love and extra naps Avery is giving me right now.
